Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She competes currently with the UFC Flyweight division. She's older than fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career began with her debut as an Muay Thai fighter. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title before being defeated by Suzane Mller by unanimous vote. Antonina won a medal of silver in 2007 followed by she also won a bronze medal in 2008, and a gold medal with gold in 2011. She was also crowned IFMA World Amateur Muay Thai Champion of 2016 by IFMA. Antonia's professional career began in 2003. In 2012 she won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship, in 2016, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016 the WMC World Championships. Antonina has fought her last time against Isa Tidblad Kskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won with a majority. Antonina Schevchenko set professional MMA records in 2002 when she fought Anara Bazanova in the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She won via second-round TKO, and then won 2 more fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to earn a 3-0 record. Shevchenko went on a hiatus from MMA in order to concentrate on her kickboxing, and she came back against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko won against Anissa in an unanimous decision. She went on to defeat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. Following the league's dissolution in the year 2018, Shevchenko enrolled into Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina displayed her striking prowess by TKOing Nievera with knees. Antonina took the UFC invitation following her win. Antonina Shychenko made her debut in the UFC in the TUF Heavy Hitters finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took the win with a unanimous decision. She was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina recovered from this loss, defeating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler by a rear-naked choke submission. This earned her the bonus of a fight-of-the night. Shevchenko won her first three fights before losing her next three fights to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
