Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976, is among the many of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae artists. He sang in Shottas along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996. Like Father Like Son and several singles including Judge Not With Patra followed by Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia each of which contributed to his growing reputation in the new wave of reggae artists. Ky-Mani performed with Praswell from Fugees on Avenue in 1997. The song was an incredibly popular cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley performed in Midem (international music showcase) in the year it was held at Miami for the first time. At the Cameo Theatre Marley performed a performance that was broadcast live on air by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 countries. Marley found himself in a bidding battle.
